This is no longer about you. It is no longer about your family, your loved ones, your city, or your country. It is time to love everyone. If we want this to lead to a change for the better, it needs to be about US. All of us. Our current paradigm will not shift on its own. It will not shift simply by us saying: “We are sorry. We’ll be better.” We won’t. Unless we DO better.
Chances are -and this might be the greatest flaw of the human condition- we will only do better for as long as we immediately and obviously get something in return. Or for as long as we are forced to. Now that we don’t have a choice, we see the immediate effect of us staying at home. The stars suddenly shine more brilliantly. We notice them to begin with. But they are. Because mother nature pressed the pause button. She is giving herself a second to catch her breath and suddenly we are amazed by what that looks like.
We see new life, we see new colours, we can see through water that was thick with pollution only a few weeks ago, we can see the stars now. They are not pointing any fingers. We are. They are not punishing us. We are. They are not in need of change. We are. But chances are we will not. Now that we can’t leave our homes, it’s easy not to pollute so much, not to exhaust nature so much. For those who can afford to, that is. For those who happen to be the ones who have created most of this. We, ordinary citizens, look at the top 1% to either take the blame or make a change. The bottom majority are looking at us. We are us. All 100% of us are us. And the only way we will get out of this better than how we entered it is if each one of us takes 100% of the responsibility.
Everything is in everything.
Each individual is responsible for the whole. Everything is in everything. So we need to change the narrative of all of our minds combined. Individually and collectively at the same time. Only by changing the collective narrative can we change the collective outcome. Only by letting go of our old reality we can create a new one. But we all have to willing to believe in something new. Which requires giving in to a period of instability. If we don’t move, our perspective will not change. If we don’t let go of what we think we know, our knowledge will always overshadow our wisdom. And all the answers we are so desperately seeking in these outdated systems, will remain in the depths of us, unable to reach the surface. Unable to relieve us of our burdens. Which we created by holding on to the things that are holding us down. Ironic, isn’t it?
Pause.
The system is down. Don’t press play. Don’t resume the game. Control alt delete. You cannot run two systems at the same time. You cannot find a new code in an outdated language. We have a history of wanting to innovate based on the past. It is time to create something new, based on the future. To act before we can see. We are about to develop what is not yet in our consciousness. But a virtual reality is still a reality. One we can manifest if we want to. The question is: do you really? Do you see how powerful you are? That you are the co-creator of a potential new reality? Do you want to come out of this with more awareness? Or just alive? Do you want to hold space for something better? Or are you still holding on? You decide.
