Waking up is in the opposite direction of where you are going. It requires you to stop going. The only going is letting go. The only way is the way inward.
The very first thing you need to understand is that you are not being held captive. The only way in which you are being held is in the way a baby is held in the arms of its mother: absolutely free to move and in the full realization that there is no need to do so whatsoever. The only thing stillness is holding you back from, is you holding yourself back by thinking you have somewhere to go.
This is not about you going there. It’s about there coming here. Within. Everything you see out there is in here. All the beauty and all the horror. You are both the Buddha and Hitler. You are everything you love and everything you fear. You are everything. And you are nothing. Which is equally infinite and possibly even more significant than being everything. Until even the infinite becomes insignificant. Waking up has nothing to do with bliss. It does not involve white robes, mantras, kundalini, meditation, or love. It goes beyond all feels comforting, soothing, or safe. It does not involve aliens, 5g, chemtrails, or illuminati. It goes beyond all that is scary, uncomfortable, or violent. Waking up is finding absolute truth within absolute truth within absolute truth.
The only way to gain it is by losing everything. So go ahead. Take the blue pill. You wake up in your own bed and believe whatever you want to believe. It may be too late to never again have the feeling that something is not real, but at least you’ll feel safe most of the time. Which is a lot more than many of us can say.
